I've watched this on the cinema the other day and I must say, the story was very well-carried. The storyline and jokes were brilliant.
I know, I know.. the story was based on the novel Inkheart. Let's just say the movie and novel were both brilliant =D
As an introduction, Inkheart tells a story about a guy Mortimer Folchart or better known as "Mo" and her daughter Meggie Folchart. Mo is a silvertongue. He possesses the power to bring anything from books to life when he reads aloud.
I'm not gonna talk abt it more coz then I'd be revealing spoilers! But it's cool to see that they involve other well known stories like Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, The Wizard of Oz and Treasure Island. I especially love Farid and his jokes. You'll know why when u watch the movie =)
Overall it's a good movie. The jokes made me laugh real hard! I would give this 1 a 7.5/10. I've never expect it to turn out a good movie but it proved me otherwise. Go see it!
